it is a classic piece from the past.1964 model and was brought by mahindras to India from [USA] as a break down kit .My willys is a high bonnet version /left hand drive/ and a very powerful 4x4 transmission.As all work is attended by me previously.
A] It has a reconditioned engine with all 4 pistons and ring new
B] It also has a new block head
C] The clutch plate is new
D] All five new rims and tires [7.50/16 mrf] used only by the Indian army.
E] All new electric wiring
F] Seat and seat covers are new
G] All the bearings are new
H] Bulbs and tail light is also brand new
I] hood is also new
J] insurance/tax/ is paid
And I do not feel if there is any thing I need to do more in the jeep.As the jeep is 43 years old one should understand its limit and the purpose of a powerful 4 WD jeep. it is truly an off road adventure vehicle and not a luxury car. Take it any where. .
